This is a great children's recorder. It seems to be made of some pretty sturdy plastic and the sound it makes seems clear. The guide is nice for first timers learning how to play. The case also seems to be sturdy and can hold up to being tossed in a backpack over and over again. My 10 year old has very much enjoyed playing it.
